More Than RVs and Boats
At Ron Hoover RV, we don't simply sell RVs and boats—we help families create memories that last a lifetime. That same belief shapes everything we do outside our dealerships as well.
Family is at the heart of our mission, and we believe every child deserves the opportunity to dream, laugh, and build memories of their own. That is why our commitment to charitable giving isn't built around a calendar of donations—it is built around people.
Supporting Children, Families & Education ▼
Every year, our employees, customers, manufacturer partners, and local communities come together with one shared purpose: to make life better for children and families throughout Texas and Oklahoma.
One of our most cherished annual traditions is adopting Hoover Elementary School in Katy, Texas during the Christmas season. Our employees work alongside teachers, counselors, administrators, and community partners to select clothing and toys for children as thoughtfully as they would shop for their own families.
That same spirit continues through our partnership with the City of Brookshire, where we help provide thousands of toys for children during the holiday season.
Each winter, Ron Hoover locations also help collect more than a thousand jackets to help ensure people throughout our communities have access to warmth during colder months.
Through educational initiatives, scholarships, youth programs, and community partnerships, we continue investing in the next generation and the families who make our communities stronger.
Texas Flood Relief & Emergency Support ▼
When devastating floods struck Texas, Ron Hoover RV mobilized its resources and community relationships to support families, volunteers, and emergency-response efforts.
Our supply drive collected essential items for flood victims and helped inspire additional support from the community, including a local church that purchased RVs for families who had lost their homes.
Ron Hoover also loaned flatbed trailers and ATVs to help volunteers transport supplies and support search-and-rescue efforts, while trailers were made available to medical volunteers who needed temporary accommodations while providing aid.
Our teams also helped support plans for a community thank-you event honoring the first responders and volunteers whose dedication made the recovery effort possible.
"This Is My Texas" Art Contest & Scholarships ▼
Through our annual "This Is My Texas" Art Contest and Scholarship Program, Ron Hoover RV supports local high school art programs while providing scholarships to talented students.
Winning artwork is donated to charity auctions benefiting Make-A-Wish, giving young artists the opportunity to use their creativity to help create hope for other children.
We also support educational scholarships through programs including Go Texan and the Texas Livestock and Rodeo Scholarship Fund, helping students pursue both traditional education and skilled-trade opportunities.
Bringing Hope Through Make-A-Wish ▼
Perhaps nothing captures the heart of Ron Hoover RV more than our longstanding partnership with Make-A-Wish.
Through fundraising events, charitable auctions, donated RVs and boats, and direct support for wish families, Ron Hoover RV has helped create unforgettable experiences for children facing critical illnesses.
Our annual saltwater bay fishing tournament brings together more than 400 boats while raising funds and awareness for Make-A-Wish. By 2025, Ron Hoover's Make-A-Wish efforts had generated more than $500,000 in charitable support.
Recent fundraising efforts helped support approximately 110 wishes for children and their families, reinforcing the impact that can be made when employees, customers, vendors, and communities come together.
Hoover Dream Units & Direct Family Support ▼
Ron Hoover RV has also provided RVs and boats to support individual wish families and charitable organizations, helping turn vehicles designed for recreation into tools for comfort, mobility, and unforgettable family memories.
In another direct act of support, Ron Hoover provided an RV and park space at no cost to an individual who needed to remain near Houston while undergoing cancer treatment, offering stability and comfort during an extraordinarily difficult time.
Supporting Children With Type 1 Diabetes ▼
Ron Hoover RV supports organizations and programs serving children living with Type 1 diabetes through research, education, camps, family support, and recreational opportunities.
Our support has included Breakthrough T1D as well as the South Texas Juvenile Diabetes Association, which benefits from an annual event hosted by Ron Hoover RV's Donna location.
Veterans, Bereavement & Local Community Support ▼
Our community involvement also includes support for military families, veterans, adaptive recreation, children's bereavement programs, first responders, local fire departments, youth organizations, and community events.
Ron Hoover has also donated equipment, including mowers and trailers, to help organizations such as the Rockport Volunteer Fire Department raise funds for continued operations and community service.
